Party Recap
When I decided to have Lydia's first birthday party at Cassandra's on Pine, I knew the them had to be pink, posh and perfect. Add to that my love of all things Disney, and the answer was simple: Cinderella!
As guests entered they were greeted by an eclectic mix of artistic covers of Cinderella's songs. One of my favorite moments of the day was watching her dad twirl around with her to "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes."
We had a buffet style lunch catered by Hometown Emporium. Tea Sandwiches, pasta salad, strawberry whip and cookies were the main fare. The cakes were from Nothing Bundt Cakes, with the large one being white chocolate raspberry and an assortment of bundtinis. Lydia's smash cake was chocolate chocolate chip.
We had a little area set up with coloring sheets from the movie, and we played a quick game of "Now where did I put that wand?"
The centerpieces were glass pumpkins with twinkly lights, and each place setting had a clock that wasn't quite ready to strike midnight. Overall, it was bibbidi bobbidi beautiful.
