Love is Sweet

Planning a Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day party?! I have sweet ideas for you! Instead of traditional reds and pinks, I decided to stick with using different shades of pink for this party.

I created the backdrop using one of my 6ft DIY balloon garland kits. Seriously, how cute are the kisses balloons?!

To take the backdrop to the next level, I created a streamer backdrop. I have a blog post from July on how to create your own. I used one pink plastic tablecloth and added in iridescent mylar. The backdrop is approximately 3ft wide.

As you know, fresh flowers are one of my favorite things to incorporate into my parties. I found the most beautiful hot pink roses at Publix. I also added in a few baby pink carnations and created a bud vase with them, too!

I filled little dishes with heart shaped gummy candies, Lindt chocolates (these are AMAZING), heart shaped marshmallows, and mini cupcakes.

I chose rosé for the wine to complement the theme. I made drink skewers using toothpicks for each blush coupe glass with heart shaped gummies and marshmallows.

Another party must-have for me is cute napkins. I’m obsessed with these from Daydream Society, the pattern and colors are perfect!
