Party Recap

London's 4th birthday barnyard bash was a rip roarin' success!! The party gods smiled upon us as we enjoyed amazing weather, family and friends to celebrate this cherished milestone. We started the party with a group wagon ride around the farm and then the kids split up for a couple hours to explore the farm, ride ponies, climb hay mounds and generally run amuck! We gathered at 'The Pony Paddock' to enjoy a picnic lunch on the lawn and again to sing happy birthday and take a whack at the giant custom #4 piñata!

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Our picnic lunch was packed in individual kraft gable boxes with custom coordinating stickers. Inside were sandwiches, fresh berries, coleslaw, chips and water packed along with a red gingham napkin and an old fashioned red striped paper straw.

  • What People Drank

Bottled water and juices from red metal bins. The farm has no running water so we had to bring everything in!

  • Desserts

Dessert was a 'naked' birthday cake adorned with fresh berries and decorated with custom painted party animals.

  • Party Favors

The favors included a bandana which each guest was able to take from the fence upon entering the party and then a custom packed farm-themed kraft basket packed with windup chicks, strawberry crayon, animal ears headband (pigs, sheep, goats, horses, cows and chickens!), party hat, chocolate horseshoe and noise maker!!

  • Activities / Games

So many activities for the kids!! In addition to the picnic lunch, piñata and cake the guests were able to take a wagon ride, visit and feed different animals, climb farm equipment turned into play structures, dig in a giant sandpit, drive small tractors and lots of other fun stuff!
