Logan LOVED school buses, and every time he would see one he would ask when it was his turn to ride! At a small church preschool and with many homeschool or private school friends most of his friends also did not have the opportunity to ride a bus so we thought with everyone about to start the school year up it would be a super fun way to get all the kids excited. We had each of the kids pack a sack lunch at our house when they arrived with luncheables, fruit, juice boxes, etc. then we went outside to take a group picture and down rolled the school bus to surprise all the kids! We filed on with our lunch boxes in tow and headed to Siloh Park where we had the picnic tables decorated with name tags, placemats, school supplies, etc. and had a dessert table full of sugar cookies, oreo pops, cake pops, pencil and apple cupcakes, and a HUGE school bus cake Mom worked super hard on! We designed the party in Periods like school; Lunch, Recess, Art (for a craft) gym (for party games) and Homeroom (for cake and presents) At the end of the party the bus took us back to our house and we handed out die cast pull back racer buses! It was a HUGE success~!
