Little Mermaid Birthday - Elle 5 years old

The place was decked out with under the sea treasures including dinglehoppers and thingamabobs. We made jellyfish streamers and had a treasure chest over flowing with jewels and trinkets. There was a mermaid themed food table with crab sandwiches, seaweed, seashell salad, fish n' chips, and a carved beach bucket watermelon salad. We had beach pails with treasures inside for favors, and of course a special dessert table with pink coral rock candy, clam cookies and crab gummies. The birthday cake was an under the sea coral reef with Little Mermaid characters...(mom's first time attempting a 3 tier cake). The kids were having so much fun playing together outside and fishing for sea creatures that we never made it to the Ariel sprinkler or the Seaweed Limbo as planned :) Elle was very happy and it was a great day!
