Lily's Tropical Moana Party

A Moana themed tropical fiesta on a budget! For Lily's 5th birthday we were inspired by her favourite film and had a party complete with dance routine, coconut bowling and a Moana cake.

• What People Ate

  Traditional party food - sandwiches, crisps, crudites and picnic snacks.

• Desserts

  For sweet treats, we had 'sea and sand' cupcakes, fresh fruit, wafer biscuits and chocolates!

• Party Favors

  Each guest took home a lei and a little hessian bag, sealed with a frangipani hairclip. The contents included sweets, bubbles, a flip-flop keyring and some temporary tattoos.

• Activities / Games

  Entertainment was provided in the form of my sister, Louise, and Lily's Godmother, Nola, who led a dance routine and ran most of the party games. I don't know where they got the energy from but they were truly amazing. Other games included pass the parcel, musical statues, pass the coconut (like Hot Potato but with a coconut instead) and a skittles game using green bottle palm trees and a coconut ball.
