Party Recap

I was reluctant to do a Mickey Mouse theme, but my daughter is obsessed with Mickey Mouse and Toodles, so I caved. I ended up trying to have just hints of Mickey Mouse throughout the party. I pulled in the characters by adding cutouts of the characters around the fire place at the kids height and it was perfect. Also, I bought a 52 inch Mickey Mouse balloon and it was a hit of the party. I think almost every kid at one point was caring him around.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

We did a "Hot Diggity Dog" hot dog bar. We grilled hotdogs and had all sorts of topping for the guest to add to their hot dogs. We also had a fruit and veggie platter, mini bags of chips, potato salad and some kid favorites foods: PB&J and watermelon, both cut into Mickey Mouse heads.

  • What People Drank

We provided water, sparkling lemonade and Apple Juice boxes for the kids.

  • Desserts

I made cupcakes and used mini oreos to make Mickey Mouse ears. One some of the cupcakes I added a candy bow for Mini Mouse.

  • Party Favors

The kids took home bubbles, what toddler doesn't love bubbles! They also took home a goodie bag with crayons, stickers and a whistle (you are welcome parents)

  • Activities / Games

We had a bunch of toys outside for the kids to play with as well as bubbles and chalk.
