Let's go Cowboy!

Hello, it was very fun to organize this party for 6 years of my son on the theme of cowboys!

Sorry for my bad english, I'm French!

I begin with the guest list and create cardboard invitations.
So I'm doing a photo shoot with my little man in the costume of his hero, a rocking horse and especially with a white background to be able to make edits or even photomontages if necessary.
 
I thought the colors I want for my theme and will look for inspiration on my favorite English site:

This will be the blue, white and red for the American Vintage side, yes it is not only in France that you wear these colors!
 
So I created my boxes with a reminder of color and of course a text that relates to the theme.
 
I distribute a see two months in advance and I always ask confirmation of attendance no later than two weeks before leaving me in the margin if I want to rent dishes or furniture.
 
On board two on the meal (we decided to organize a big meal and guests are invited from 12am), here is what we chose:
 
-Chips Tortillas and different tastes.
-Chile Con Carne with toasted homemade chicken pieces marinated beforehand
- A big loaf of bread cut for rustic
- From chocolate cake for the final !!!
 
THE DECORATIONS:
 
At the entrance I placed a small table (purchased from Ikea) covered with striped gift wrap secured with tape.
Gifts for children are placed there: Sheriff hat and bandana that wrap a gift (pencil pouch with the image of Toy Story).
And a reminder of the cartoon with Mr. Potato Head.
 
The meal was made possible to a large terrace, there is a long central table and decor is arranged all around.

Table: red gingham tablecloths (! Always recall campaign colors and appearance), by way of plate aluminum trays (real mess Cowboy !!), glasses in boxes Coke (yes it is very American!), squares brands, executives focused with wanted posters, small rosettes, and larger to put on each chair, striped towels taken in two colors red and blue.
 
Buffet: white plain tablecloth, frame, red salad, stuffed animals and from Toy Story (found at Disneyland).
 
Around the buffet: straws boots (I found Farmer ads near my home on Leboncoin.fr, € 2.5 delivery unit), an old wooden chest, a barrel, a crate filled wicker of logs (also to do with apples or corn cobs), American flags, hat, gun, handcuffs, still Toy Story dolls and other characters!, old wagon, wheel, blue, white and red balloons ties (that is faster than a knot!) and sticks so they fit anywhere and make bouquets and tricolor banners.
 
Many accessories are found in flea, hence the interest to do it well in advance!
 
Activities:
 
-A Fishing duck: a small inflatable pool, turtles and ducks like at the fair and fishing rods, I bought real so that it lasts over time because with 3 kids resservira it for sure!
 
-A Small messes-all, then revisited in the shooting range for the big ones! We used a large cardboard covered with cloth and straw bales to cushion the balls, cans were recovered for covering gift paper.
 
-Stand Make-up with professional make-up, brushes and sponges, do not go on the low end, children's skin is fragile and the outcome is not up otherwise!
 
-travel Bag: we bought bags specially provided for the race in the bag but 2 of 4 have not held up after two races so nothing beats the traditional potato bag !!
 
-Game Of the rope requires a long strong rope hemp possibly forming two teams and the goal is that each team tries to pull the other side of his (half bounded by a line). Giggles guaranteed!
 
-Stroke Egg: the further I bought ready hardware with big plastic spoons and eggs (! Plastics also because we did not want to spread all the garden), were delineated a course with hurdles and made the teams (boys against girls very often) because there were only 4 spoons so 2 boys / 2 girls and one point to the team first arrived.
 
-Tir Rifle, real rifles lead, a true beginner course or safety is very important, forbidden to move during the shooting, continuous monitoring of children who have also tried brilliantly !!
-Game Of the apple: we took a huge basin filled with water, we had the chance to settle in the pool but consider installing to a location where you know it will inevitably tempered, two beautiful apples and purpose (we even made 2 teams) and to compare two people, hands in the back and you have to first catch the apple with her mouth! You have to go frankly, we finally tempered but victory is priceless !!!
 
-Madison: Why not proposed a quick dance lessons to your guests? A simple choreography to learn and totally western.
