Selected as Party of the Day on March 11th!
Leprechaun Lunch
ByParty Recap
What better way to kick off march than a Leprechaun lunch? I decided to surprise my kiddos with a light lunch, a fun activity, silly surprises and of course a delicious sweets table at the end of a rainbow.
I use paper mache letters in projects and crafts often and pulled them out again, this time giving them a coating of green paint and then glitter to give them a magical feel. The balloon rainbow was simply strung together and attached to the wall and the table embellished with ribbons. The kids went to work right away building their leprechaun traps, with tempting gold wrapped chocolates as bait.
We sipped on Shamrock Punch and enjoyed ham and cheese roll-ups made with green spinach wraps. The sweets table included a golden drip cake, caramels the ever popular peanut butter cup, gum balls and store-bought sugar cookies. The kids both received fuzzy green stick on mustaches (silly surprise) and a St. Patrick's Day t-shirt.
