Leelah’s Mermaid 3rd Birthday Party

Since we were planning to spend Leelah’s Birthday week at the Jersey Shore, I thought it was so appropriate to change her party theme to Mermaids! Once I found the party goods from Birthday Express I started to imagine how beautiful I can make her party. I’m slightly obsessed with mermaids myself so my imagination exploded. I am a baker but I love to throw fun, decorative and beautiful parties for my daughters…I absolutely wanted the focus to be the cake and treats since that is my speciality and called upon some good friends to help. I ordered treat boxes and a cake topper from my friends Maddy and Diamond from Crafts by Maddy and Diamond. And coordinated with my beat friend about the balloon arch. When the day came, I was overly excited as I started assembling and decorating. It was the most perfect party table EVER and my daughter wore the biggest smile all day. The cake was a 6” cake decorated in ombré colored buttercream, glitter, mermaid tails and seashells and Finished with a custom topper. The treats included custom decorated sugar cookies, cakepops in the shape of mermaid tails or topped with under the sea accents and pretzels dipped in coordinating colors. It was the perfect at home mermaid party for me and my family.
