Party Recap
For Kylie's 3rd Birthday party, the only thing she wanted was a "pony party". Since her Birthday is the middle of February I knew that it would be hard to guarantee a pony, but I went with it and we threw "Kylie's Cowgirl Birthday Party". On the day of her Birthday party it was a high of 16F, so I had to cancel the pony, but the party was still a great success.
When the guests arrived the first thing they saw was a "Grab Your Gear" table with Cowboy hats, bandannas, and name tag Sheriff Badges.
As an additional party favor I made 24 Hobby Horses using WhimsyWooStables on Etsy's Woowie pattern.
I used party printables from Chickabug on Etsy and custom coloring pages from SugarPieStudio as placemats on the kids tables.
For food we made pulled pork and mac & cheese in crock pots, corn bread muffins, coleslaw, salad and a vegetable platter.
For children's activities we played "Pin the Tail on the Pony" from Etsy shop LaurenHaddoxDesign, had a pull string pinata, horse shoe toss (plastic set from Amazon), horse themed toys (large stuffed horses and horse barns), bottle ring toss.
