Party Recap

The one thing Kristy (mommy to be) mentioned to me when planning the decor of the baby shower was, "I don't like girlie decor". Well, then there you go. I knew then the theme would have to be Shabby Chic. Hobby Lobby is where I purchased the chalk board, baby signs, and the burlap flag banner. I purchased the organic onesies, booties & teddy bear from Target. The other items shown I had on hand from other parties I've done. By Kristy's beautiful smile, I'd say it was a success.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Joy is an incredible cook. She made homemade chili, chicken salad with croissants and had a beautifully arranged vegetable platter with homemade dip, and a cheese, olive and grape platter.

  • What People Drank

Joy made a homemade punch. It was out this world. We all couldn't get enough.

  • Desserts

    Chocolate Cupcakes.

  • Party Favors

Camomile tea bags. I made a sign that said, A baby is brewing". I placed the tea bags in a beige danty drawstring bag and handed them out as guest left.

  • Activities / Games

Since we had lots of guests with very active children we decided not to play games.
