Kids' Shark Party

With summer setting in, a Shark themed pool party will be a hit! If you just want to keep it simple, here are a couple fun accents to make a small party special! We were having some friends over to swim for their sons' 9th birthday, so I wanted to set up something small but festive. I saw these shark plates and straws at Target and thought it could be just the right theme for a summer pool party! With left over straws, I cut them down to turn some of them into cupcake toppers! Always think outside of the box, that saves you big time on money for supplies. I was also able to grab some shark gummy candies so I added them to the cupcakes and a small dish on the side. Themed food that matches goes a long way in giving your party that extra touch.
