JP turns 1 with Cat in the Hat!

Our third child turned one and I really wanted something special but keeping in mind he's only turning one. Dr Seuss' books were a great inspiration. All guests were under 2 yrs (except for DD 3 and DS 5). We hosted a book reading session as well as a Music Together class. Babies were able to play in mats, a pool filled w/balls, and break a Cat in the Hat Piñata. Party favors were Fish bowls (w/ real fish) which were a huge success! Birthday boy had a blast!

  Every family took home a fish named Clark in a bowl with a food pack (for Clark) and a goodie bag (cookies and lollipops) for the kids.

  When JP hit the piñata (for the first time) w/ big brothers's help and he just started cracking up. Priceless!

  Bday boy decided to hit the cake (causing it to topple over) right before we started singing happy BDay

  Half way thru HBD JP decided he was tired and started cuddling in my shoulder
