Party Recap

We just had a new baby in November and with the cold weather here, I wasn't able to secure a cool venue for Joey's party because I started planning too late. So we invited everyone over and had a really fun time anyway!

I found a lot of great ideas on Pinterest and hand-made most of the decorations!

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Finger sandwiches, Fruit skewers, cookies, cupcakes, goldfish, all kinds of yummy party food!

  • What People Drank

    Lemonade, juice

  • Best Moment

When Joey took a bite of his birthday cake! He doesn't get to have a lot of junk food so it was a real treat for him!

  • Funniest Moment

When he kept asking for more cake!

  • Best Dressed

Daddy and Joey wearing matching Elmo T-Shirts!

  • Desserts

Cupcakes, cookies, candy, and cake of course!

  • Party Favors

I made the bags with foam paper and googly eyes. I filled them based on each kid - we have friends of different ages so I try to customize them for each guest. Older kids got colouring books and crayons with candy and other little things. younger kids got stuffed toys, chewy teething toys and sippy cups or treat cups. Babies got bibs, teethers and soothers. Most of it was Sesame Street themed when I could find it!

  • Activities / Games

I set up a toddler play area for the older kids in one room and a baby crawl for the little ones in the main are where the parents would be.

  • Budget

Can't say... My husband doesn't need to know ALL the details:)
