Party Recap

The gorgeous autumn sun shone down upon our magical Frozen setting at Jindi’s 3rd birthday party making everything glisten just like newly fallen snow…

12 children – each one cute as a button in their dress ups – came to celebrate with our birthday girl who swirled and twirled her way around the party space with one absolutely exquisite blue ballgown completely worthy of any wintry queen!

And oh my goodness where to start! Our fabulous frozen castle inspired backdrop with sparkly blue side drapes was the perfect start to setting our party scene… we then added in our pretty trees (complete with glittery silver snowflakes) before setting the cake table which this time featured one spectacular Frozen dolls house – the perfect place to display our custom cupcakes with toppers (with thanks to @sabiliciouscakes), lollipops with custom labels, treat boxes filled with popcorn and our thank you chocolates with custom wrappers (with thanks to @littleprincessdesigns).

Shari from @sharisenchanteddesigns was on hand to create her absolutely stunning frozen inspired face painted designs – even Olaf made an appearance on a number of foreheads – complete with real googly eyes! Have you ever seen the like! Soooo cute!!

Then after playing a game of hunt for Queen Elsa’s frozen ice crystals, pass the parcel, musical chairs and pin the nose on Olaf – the children gathered for even more fun at our arts and crafts table which featured decorating Olaf with lots of fun cotton balls and chenille sticks, colouring in with Elsa and Anna and for the first time we brought along tubs of kinetic sand with lots of fun tools for the children to construct their own ice castles with… I think it’s safe to say the children had loads of fun!

The highlight for me today though was seeing the birthday girl’s dad join in the fun – he sat with the children for a game of pass the parcel, was the perfect host, ensured the children had enough to eat and even gathered the children around the party table for a group photo. The smiles and laughter were completely infectious and I know that wonderful memories were made for this family today that truly will last a lifetime
