Party Recap
This year my son decided he wanted to have a Star Wars themed party for his 5th birthday. I found the most amazing venue for his party at the Forest School at Giant Leap Learning Centre. I then started to get creative with a lot of help from my son! A Star Wars theme is a totally fun theme for boys or girls.

Party Favors
For the party favors I had to make foam light sabres and the kiddies loved them. I created R2D2 treat boxes and filled with lots of goodies and sweets, each guest was given a Angry Bird Star Wars colouring activity book and I made create your own droid crafts to take home.

Activities / Games
The first activity was a star making activity. Each child had to find 5 sticks in the forest and fasten together with string to make a star and then they could decorate by adding ribbons and glitter they made a lovely gift to take away and also fab for a Christmas decoration. All of the parents got involved with this activity too! Next we had a Star Wars scavenger hunt. Each child was given a sheet of paper and had to search round the forest area for the matching pictures and there was also a hidden star for them to find. We had foam light sabres which the kiddies loved and ran around like real Jedis :) We then all sat around the camp fire and played pass the parcel and made toasties and toasted marshmallows. Then each Jedi was given their Jedi certificate.
