Jayden's "Into The Spider Verse" 4th Birthday

Our spidey senses where tingling when we were hired for this bash! For starters our kids are obsessed with “Spider-Man: Into The Spider Verse” which means between the two of us we’ve probably have watched the movie… Hmm… About billion times!!! I must say it worked in our favor because we were overloaded with ideas as soon as we sat down for our design meeting.

For the central backdrop we knew right away we wanted to go with the most iconic part of the movie where Miles (main character/Spider-Man) gets bitten by a spider while doing graffiti work in a subway station. The movie is based in NY city, though a cartoon it truly reflects the beauty of NY and its livelihood. We wanted to include that in a small way into our design by adding Skyscrapers on either side of main backdrop.

For dessert display we decided to stayed away from traditional table displays or pedestals. Our goal was to emphasize the street style this movie brings. We used steel barrels as our main cake display “table”, along with cake jars and “web shooters” (biodegradable silly string). Crates were used to display cookies and cake pops. And of course we sprinkled in some Spider-Man action figured and key details from the movie.

If your party doesn’t have personalized items… I mean… is it really your party?
We wanted Jayden to see every detail of this party was for him and so we personalized as much as we could! Starting at the kids table with personalized comic book placemats and each cup with his name on it. For our treat wall we partnered with simply THE BEST: Diva Creations. She personalized all the Skittle boxes, M&M boxes and popcorn boxes. Seriously how amazing is her work?!

We had Jayden’s name in huge letters across his backyard installed but Real Big Letters, along with beautifully designed balloon decor on either side of his name as well as in the front entryway done my Flourish Tampa, those girls are extremely talented and work so fast!

In all it was the most perfect afternoon is Tampa, FL where our tiny client Jayden got to enjoy his 4th birthday and live out his Spider-Man dreams!
