Jameson's 1: Construction Party

When our oldest son turned one, it was easy to choose a construction themed party. My dad owns a crane operating company, so we had a TON of things to use as decorations.

We kept the food simple: Chex Mix and pretzels for finger foods. Typical "construction site lunch", a hot dog bar... with plenty of different salads to choose from. Dessert was mini cupcakes and a dirt cake I made myself and served in one of our oversize dump truck toys.

I bought canvas work aprons from Home Depot and filled them with juice boxes and other goodies as the favors.
