Jamaican 18th Birthday Socially Distanced Party
ByParty Recap
How can we celebrate a birthday in the midst of Coronavirus? Socially distanced, masks and lots of hand sanitizer! Since we can't travel, we brought Jamaica to us! Two families were distanced at tables set 10 feet apart. Each guest was provided custom face masks and hand sanitizer. Guests feasted on traditional Jamaican food while they listened to island music. Guests sipped on Pina Coladas with a virgin version for the kids. A festive balloon palm tree adorned the drink bar. The green, yellow and black tablescapes included tropical fruit and a Bob Marley napkin ring! The Jamaican flag flew proudly above the tables as the kids played hacky sack. The guest of honor wore a tie dyed shirt and a rasta hat to get in the mood. All in all it was a great celebration done in a safe, distanced manner!
