This Sun Shiny baby shower was thrown for a little boy who battled health problems during the first month of his life. Mom and Dad wanted to celebrate his healthy return home with a PARTY. and what better way then a sunny bbq for their sun shine? We opted out of the traditional baby shower feel as the mom and dad wanted their guests to feel laid back and comfortable. We decided to skip the centerpieces and go with classic, nostalgic, games such as sorry, connect four and jenga. Notice the beautiful quilts used for the dessert table, as well as the back drop for the photo booth. The mom fell in love with the gingham and polkadot print clashing, so we were sure to use contrasting fabrics through out the event. For dessert, Blue berry, peach, cherry and pecan pie to keep with the old timey country fair feel. Salt water taffies as requested by the dad! Cheese cake, Grandma's famous banana pudding, lemon cupcakes embellished with sunflowers and cheese cakes!
