Jacquelyn's Sweet 16

My sweet 16 was by far the best night of my life. It took months and months of planning, but it was so worth all of the stress. My court and I went on a party bus before the party, we were a little bit late, so when we arrived at the party, everyone was asked to leave the room so that we could sneak in through the back door and hide behind the curtain. We made our grand entrance on a runway, it was so much fun. After that, the party was started. I had my father daughter dance with my Dad to "Daddy" by Beyoncé. Everyone wanted pictures with me, my cheeks felt like they were gonna fall off from smiling so much. I danced for a little bit but my big dress was annoying me so I changed right into my short dress so I could be comfortable to dance the night away. I danced with my Grandpa to "Billy Jean" by Michael Jackson. It wasn't really planned, but he wanted to have a dance with me.. it was really fun. Dinner was served at 9:30, and the food was amazing but I barely even ate because all I wanted to do was dance, and that's just what my friends & I did all night. The DJ played mostly spanish music, reggae & rap. At around 11:00 I did my candlelight ceremony which went very well. I was surprised that I didn't really feel that nervous & I actually spoke clearly. I made both of my parents cry & everyone who got a candle told me that they loved it. I had the time of my life, my family members and friends are the best. My Sweet 16 was a night I will never forget. I want to thank my parents so much for throwing me the party of my dreams..

  We rented a runway, lounge furniture, feather centerpieces, and a photo booth from him. He was also our DJ, photographer & videographer. He set up almost my entire party and he did an amazing job.

  My Dad paid for my whole entire party all by himself. I can't explain how much I appreciate how much he put into my party just to make sure it was the best night of my life. Thank you Daddy, you're the man & I love you.

  My aunt made my hair & makeup look absolutely flawless the night of my party. She is the absolute best & I love her so much. It took 4 hours to get my ready, but it was so worth it.
