Party Favors

Favor bags with butterfly-themed toys and candy; The girls' goody bags included butterfly wings, wands, and fairy headbands. The boys' goody bags included bug catchers with magnifying glasses and butterfly nets. All the bags also included butterfly pencils, buttons, and a butterfly life cycle poster supplied by the butterfly museum.
Activities / Games

The party started with a tour of the museum. The children observed various reptiles and bugs. There was an animal "Show-and-Tell" where the kids got to learn about and pet a gecko and a snake. The tour moved to the butterfly atrium where the children were surrounded by butterflies (many of which landed on them). There was also a koi pond and several butterfly shaped benches for the guests to take pictures. The group then moved into the bouncy area of the museum where they were able to enjoy several inflatables before going into the party room.
