Isaac's 11th Birthday

We worked very hard at transforming the birthday boy's home into Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the day. The homemade details helped secure the magical experience for each guest: Each guest received his or her very own cloak, wand, spell book, and scarf! The fun classes made the day extra memorable: Magical Creatures, Spells, Potions, and Creatology. Overall, the day was a huge hit!

  Guests kept their wands, spell books, scarves, and painting from Creatology class; they also received a cauldron of jelly beans and treats from the candy shoppe.

  Julie helped me gather so many of the cool props, from the trunks on the porch to the potions bottles on the display shelf. From the guests point of view, her greatest contribution was in making ALL OF THOSE SCARVES for each child who attended! She is amazing! :)

  My sister spend days helping me sew all of those capes! It was she who cut out all of those pieces of fabric that I sewed together! I don't think I could have done it without her!
