Home for the Holidays

This time of year, with shelter in place here in California, seeking the silver lining has been a saving grace for our family. There are so many sweet reminders to slow down, enjoy the season, and make it feel more special than ever. I have two young children, so it's mostly for them, but in all honesty, we could all use a little extra holiday sparkle. Our tree is shining a little brighter, the fire place is on more than ever, keeping us warm and cozy. My table is set and ready for a feast, although it is only be set for my family of four.

I was inspired by a winter wonderland. Cozy Ivory velvet linens, lush greenery, the last batch of garden roses (from my very own garden). Loads of silk, tulle and velvet ribbon for warmth and texture. Touches of gold, my grandparents crystal, and the most darling gingerbread houses, I ever did see.
