Party Recap
My inspiration typically comes from one item, usually napkins, plates, etc. The color scheme for this party was inspired by the buffalo check napkins. Keeping with those colors, I opted for a black and white color scheme with pops of silver.
One easy way to make a party to scream Halloween is by using spiderweb! You can purchase it pretty much anywhere. To create the backdrop, I covered my mirror with spiderweb. I created a 3ft mini diy balloon garland using black and chrome silver balloons. I also attached a few paper fans that I purchased from Target.
For a fun touch, I had my husband write the phrase “here for the boos” on a pearl white balloon. He is the artist in this family…no calligraphy writing skills for me haha! I attached silver mylar fringe to the balloon for the tail.
I used spiderweb as a table runner on my buffet which included mini pumpkins, poms, Halloween candy and of course, “boos”.
Everything used on my table is from the dollar spot at Target or things I already had on hand. I used a white gauze cloth for the table runner. The centerpiece was made with black flowers in bud vases, spiders, candles and mini black plants. I kept it on the simpler side for each place setting which included a white dinner plate, buffalo check napkin and silver flatware.
I always love creating seasonal party inspiration! It’s so much fun to work with items you don’t use everyday. I hope this gives you inspo for your Halloween party!
