Harry Potter-Inspired Wedding Shower

I hosted a special wedding shower and housewarming for my friends, who just happen to be big Harry Potter fans. We decided to make it Harry Potter-themed, but I didn't want it to look "traditional." I chose an aqua and black color scheme, and then used a lot of HP ideas for food and decorations. It turned out great and everyone had a blast!

• What People Ate

  I made a variety of Harry Potter-inspired treats (jelly beans, chocolate frogs, cupcakes, chocolate wands, etc.) and also traditional party foods like mini quiches, fruit platter, chips, etc.

• What People Drank

  I made butter beer (versions for the kids and adults) and I put "potion labels" on bottles of soda.
