“Harlow’s Barnyard Co. 5th Birthday Texas Hold Em’ Style”

My client reached out to me wanting to do a barnyard theme for Harlow’s 5th birthday. But after I dug a little deeper I found out some information that allowed me to make it unique. Harlow‘s favorite color is “rainbow” and with the event being on Easter weekend I decided to go with a pastel rainbow color scheme instead of traditional or just settling to do pink since she’s a girl. I also found out Harlow loves TEXAS HOLD ‘EM so I decided with the release of COWBOY CARTER, I would do a little Beyoncé twist on the theme as well by adding more cowboy/western elements, and touches of silver bling and disco balls here and there as a nod to the end of Renaissance and the beginning of Act II.

Per usual my vendors showed up and showed out! Oscar and Lery did amazing with the balloons per usual and really help me out as far as stabilizing everything. Outdoor events are not for the week! Meek did some adorable barn house favors that had little stuffed animals inside that the kids could adopt. And she also made some cute holster utensil holders for me. Kim and Gretchen came through with the beautiful treats and cake. And the Bubble dome was a huge hit with the kid.

We did have some hiccups in the beginning but per usual I kept a cool head, made some calls and got everything to work! One of the many reasons why you should hire your favorite event planner 😉.
