Selected as Party of the Day on August 28th!
Our Little King ‘LAIKER’ Is A ‘WILD ONE’
ByParty Recap
With “jungle theme” being so popular for 1st birthdays I thought I might put a twist on it for our sons FIRST birthday & get the adults just as excited as the kids, so we took a walk on the WILD side... With a childhood remake on its way I couldn’t resist adding a little HaKuNa MaTaTa to the day & it was a hit for both the young & young at heart.
Adding subtle touches can make all the difference. We had a personalized Simba sign created to welcome guests, personalized Lion King chocolates, cake / cupcake toppers & lollipops to thank guests for coming. With large animal props displayed through out, safari signage & greenery we captured that jungle vibe. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed planning this special day, celebrating my child’s first birthday was a dream we long awaited to live, so very blessed.

Kirsty Krauze
Cake Maker
We are so lucky to have Kirsty as part of our family (cousin), Kirsty isn’t a full time cake maker but enjoys a challenge so I sent Kirsty a few ideas for a two tier cake to represent ‘The Lion King’ & her creation exceeded our expectations, not to mention the flavours were amazing.

Honey & Maple
Stylist
I hired Elle from Honey & Maple to help set up / style on the day to save my time and sanity. I took everything to the venue the night before and the morning of the event Elle arrived working with other vendors I had arranged to create our dream party.
Elle was the missing piece to our puzzle to have a stress free celebration.
