Greyson's John Deere Tractor Farm Party
ByParty Recap
So my son Greyson's birthday is in the early fall which I absolutely love. Greyson was really into tractors which fit in perfectly for hosting an early fall party. The farm feel allowed me to utilize decor that I would be using for fall decorating anyway, so it came together quite easily.
The food, decor, and gorgeous weather made for a perfect celebration for my little guy!
Party Highlights
-
What People Ate
Coming off of the summer we wanted to have a menu that strayed away from traditional summer grilling. So we settled on fried chicken, homemade biscuits and sausage gravy, corn on the cob, green beans, potato salad and macaroni and cheese.
-
What People Drank
Beer, wine and apple sangria for the adults. Apple cider and a variety of soft drinks for the kids.
-
Desserts
My carrot cake cake pops (for a full tutorial check out my profile which links to my blog), cupcakes, peach cobbler, chocolate covered donuts (tractor tires), Rice Krispie treats (hay bales), and homemade tractor sugar cookies.
-
Party Favors
Tractor shaped pops. I purchased the mold online.
-
Activities / Games
Various yard games.
