Go Fly a Kite

Some people love the mountains but I love the beach and Oregon beaches have great kite flying weather. What better way to spend a sunny summer day than at a kite flying party on the beach.

• What People Ate

  Since the party was held at the beach we stopped at a local seafood restaurant and got some clam chowder to go.

• What People Drank

  Bottled water for ease of packing and to keep us hydrated while kite flying.

• Desserts

  Dessert was gummy octopuses and store bought cupcakes dressed up with flying kites.

• Party Favors

  The party favors were fun little bags filled with mini sunscreen.

• Activities / Games

  We flew kites and relaxed on the beach. Oregon ocean water is way too cold even in summer to play in it.
