Georgia's 40th Birthday - 80's Style

I was asked to put together an 80's themed party for a 40th birthday at the W Hotel in one of their many fabulous suites and boy, was that such a fun and unique experience!! The suite itself had such a vibrant set up that incorporating my decor was easy! Guests walked in to see an acrylic Welcome sign tucked into the ropes with shutter glasses and fingerless gloves scattered all around. Then the backdrop - this was one of my favorites to design! Balloons, 80's props, including my favorite - the Carebear - and a photo booth frame gave guests everything they needed for some very fun photo ops. And you can't go wrong with 80's snacks - give me all the Cool Ranch Doritos, Combos and of course - LUNCHABLES!!! And don't forget the Kool-Aid and Tab Soda! And finally, an 80's candy bar surrounding an awesome cake was a serious showstopper! Fun Dip, Pixy Stix, Ring Pops, Big League Chew, Nerds and Airheads were all in attendance! I just can't get enough of the acrylic signage! But let's not forget the favors - guests left with a pack of Pop Rocks and an 80's style Pez anchored by yet another amazing sign - 40 Rocks!!! It was truly a night to remember!
