Party Recap

We hosted a dreamy Galentine’s Day soirée with some of our most creative vendor friends in South Florida, also known as our “friendors”. It was everything you’d imagine, with heart shaped pizzas, a table full of sugary treats and charcuterie, bubbly, and of course, matching conversation heart crewnecks for the gals!

DESIGN:

Along with co-planning the event, Kristen from The Basic Birch Co. created our “Love You Like XO” 7-foot custom backdrop with ombré hearts in 4 custom colors, with white acrylic lettering. It was at that very moment we initiated the Beyoncé playlist on Spotify.

Marcela from Flor Mosura was our floral fairy godmother and blessed us with all things pink, dressing up The Basic Birch Co.’s backdrop with both fresh and dried florals. She also designed a stunning custom floral arrangement for the picnic table and gave it a special touch with heart-shaped gemstones (she always has a secret weapon!).

Magnolia Sunsets designed a cozy picnic setting with teacups, crystal candleholders, pillows, heart-shaped sunnies, fuzzy socks, and custom crewnecks for everyone in attendance. We styled all of the goodies for each guest & of course filled up the retro cooler with Plume & Petal seltzers & a touch of floral magic from Flor Mosura. It was picnic-perfect!

Alpha-Lit South Florida stacked our “BOY BYE” marquee letters and decked them out with hot pink bulbs in true Galentine’s fashion! Then, Dania from Amber and Vine laid on the finishing touches with a 12-foot balloon garland that perfectly matched the color scheme and made our party POP!

TREATS FOR THE GALS:

Katelyn from Petal & Pear Cake Design blew us away with her vintage cake. She took one look at the color palette and the rest was history. We were the best hype team when she unveiled her masterpiece! Along with a cake, she also created red velvet geometric heart shaped cake truffles, along with a giant smash box heart loaded with hard candy and chocolate. Just imagine the squeals of excitement from all of the girls!

Lina from Pepina Sugar Co. baked us the most perfect pink macarons with cute little love notes printed on them, along with “Fries Before Guys” cookie fries that we like to call “frookies”. She actually created frookies 2 years ago as a cute sample pack for her clients to try all of her yummy flavors, which was the inspiration behind creating a Galentine’s Day version. They were so perfect and unique!

Melissa from Grazing Joy handcrafted an amazing “heart-cuterie” box and chocolate-dipped strawberries that were to die for! Is it even a girls night without cheese & chocolate?!

Plume & Petal set up a bar and welcomed the ladies with their “Pink Flamingo” cocktail that really got us in the Galentine’s Day spirit. Flor Mosura beautified the bar with yet another custom floral arrangement dripping in all things pink!

PHOTOGRAPHY:

Halle Alessia Photography was there to capture every moment and detail of our Galentine’s hangout, and also found herself in front of the lens which was the icing on the cake. Without her, we would never be able to prove how much fun we had that afternoon! Pics or it didn’t happen, right?!
