French Vintage Picnic

This year, I designed a Mother's Day French Vintage Picnic for the outstanding women in my life. I was inspired by these words...

As a mom, I like to think that I provide balance for my Princess. I help her navigate and make her way through life. So a vintage bicycle was the perfect accent piece to build around. Here's a snapshot of the day.

It's perfect for a bridal shower, baby shower or similar event that brings together people for a chic afternoon.

• Desserts

  Chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered strawberries, home-powdered munchkins, lemon whoopie pies, cinnamon tortilla chips, and mousse de chocolat (blanc).

• Party Favors

  Homemade bath salts, car fresheners, and drawer fresheners with lavender and fresh herbs.

• Most Touching Moment

  Spending time laughing with incredible women.

• What People Ate

  Buffet de crepes that included strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, powered sugar, chicken a la creme, and jambon a la creme fillings.

• What People Drank

  Mojitos and Sangria. Guests brought their favorite bottle of wine to share.
