Party Recap
My firstborn hit the big 1-6 and dove straight into Bubble Trouble! Between the sweet frozen ice cream, fluffy cotton candy, and clouds of foam, it was the ultimate Foam & Frost Frenzy. She celebrated this unforgettable milestone surrounded by friends.
INVITATIONS: The invitations focused more on the Frost Frenzy side of the birthday theme. I ordered the invitations from an Etsy seller and had them customized to match the party’s aesthetic. The design featured a 3D image of three scoops of ice cream stacked on a sugar cone, printed on sturdy cardstock. For the envelopes, I created a matching design with the phrase “Here’s the SCOOP,” where every letter in SCOOP was a sugar cone topped with melting ice cream. The top of the envelope read Party Edition in a newspaper font.
ATTIRE: For her birthday photos, she wore two different outfits. She was captured in her first look with a blush pink satin bubble dress, accessorized with iridescent jewelry: earrings, necklace, and bracelets that were paired with matching iridescent heels.
Her second outfit featured a royal blue hooded cropped sweatshirt layered over a matching tank top, paired with tie dye Bermuda shorts. She completed the outfit with royal blue suede peep toe ankle boots embellished with rhinestones. She accessorized it with pink circular fringe hoop earrings.
At the party, the birthday girl wore a long-sleeved maroon and white tie dye hooded cropped sweatshirt with denim Bermuda shorts. She wore high-crew maroon and white tie-dye socks with denim and white low-top Vans sneakers.
Sis wore a spiral hot pink and sea green tie dye t-shirt with black leggings. She wore black socks and Birkenstock sandals.
Dad wore a short sleeved green tie dye t-shirt with a matching green tie dye baseball cap. His denim jeans were paired with dark blue sneakers.
Mom wore a pastel pink, blue, and purple tie dye short sleeved t-shirt with matching pastel tie dye baseball cap. Denim jeans were paired with Denim Nike shoes.
DECORATIONS: The backdrop exhibited a rainbow pastel balloon arch with clusters of lavender, mint green, light blue, soft yellow, and baby pink balloons. On the right was an ice-cream balloon column with tan balloons as the cone and pink balloons to create the scoop, topped with small accent balloons that looked like sprinkles. Hanging behind the balloon arch was a shiny, light pink fringe curtain.
The center of the cake table featured a two-tier pastel cake with pink drip icing, colorful candy pearls, faux bubble decorations, and was topped off with an inverted waffle cone to look like a dropped ice cream scoop. A white 16 marquee light accented with pink glitter sat to the left of the cake. The table was filled with themed treats: a clear tray of ice-cream cone cake pops, ice cream shaped cookies displayed inside number 16 white trays, cotton candy tubs, and mini gumball machines filled with colorful bubblegum. The tablecloth resembled a waffle cone with blue icing drips, matching the rainbow fringe pastel background. There were waffle cone paper cups, pink plastic cutlery, and matching themed napkins on the right side of the table.
Pizza was placed in the center of the food table. Two black trays of buffalo wings were placed beside the pizza. Bowls of potato chips and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Puffs were set on each side of the table. Drinks included were lemonade, raspberry lemonade, bottled water, assorted Bubly sparkling water, lemon lime soda, and orange soda. A stack of paper plates featured a matching waffle cone, and pink icing was placed on the right side of the table.
The gift and party favor tables were both covered with pink-toned tie-dye tablecloths, with large metallic party favor tote bags neatly arranged across the tables.

Once they were laminated and cut out, they looked just like tie-dye t-shirts.
