Flocktails and Friendship
ByParty Recap
Summer is the perfect time for hosting an outdoor movie night with a flock of girlfriends! This flamingo inspired party was decked out in shades of pink combined with bold, black stripes for a fun color combo! The beverage station was highlighted with a printed backdrop that was the inspiration for the party setup. Fun details like wine labels, straw flags, food tents and tags are a great way to tie the theme together. A whimsical centerpiece was created by floating drink-floats filled with pink flowers in a trio of tins! More floral additions can be found in the wire chandelier hanging over the water dispenser. Ribbon is another easy way to add color coordinated stripes throughout! The treat tables included a s'more station with pink marshmallows, brownies topped with flamingos and a table filled with grab-and-go treats for movie munching. Waffle cones dipped in chocolate and sprinkles make a fun DIY edible container for more munchies! Tins filled with floor cushions were available for comfy movie seating and an oversized canvas drop cloth made a great "area rug" to spread on the ground. Party favors included bags of microwave popcorn for all the guests to take home for a reminder of the movie fun!
