Fixer Upper Birthday Party
ByParty Recap
This party was for a young girl turning 10, who absolutely loves the HGTV show "Fixer Upper" so much that she insisted on that theme for her party. The guests were greeted by a replica of the Magnolia sign that I created using shiplap and various sizes and fonts of wood letters, similar to the one that welcomes people to the Magnolia store in Waco, Texas. I also styled the guest table in a simple vintage look, similar to the way Joanna does on the show. The highlight of the party had to be the Demo Day activity...the guests were given hardhats, hammers, and safety goggles AND instructed to "demo" a piece of drywall. A very fun day and a party the birthday girl will not soon forget!
