Evalyn's Little Miss Sunshine Party

Evalyn has been a ray of sunshine since the moment she entered our lives. I couldn't have picked a better theme to celebrate her first birthday than her nickname, "Little Miss Sunshine". Every good party starts with an good invitation and our custom watercolor sun motif by Nib & Pixel set a bright & cheery tone for the party. In various shades of yellow and creams, our house was filled with streamers, garlands and tissue pom-poms. A DIY floral "1" anchored the room above a years worth of photos of the birthday girl. Choosing the menu was easy, breakfast is her favorite meal of the day so we served mini versions of breakfast favorites. Kristina of Buttercup Houston created a deliciously beautiful ombre cake for dessert paired with lemon macarons. No grey skies were in sight for our sunshine filled celebration!
