Party Recap
The most wonderful December party for a little girl turning six. Everyone knows that our parties include dress up so they all came in there khakis and polo shirts. When they checked in to base camp they got their pith hat, binoculars, and took a picture with a lion. They played, they ate, and played some more, but the most magical moment was at the end. Each child got to "adopt" a Safari animal complete with adoption papers! They named their animal, signed their own name and promised to take care of their new pet! Special thanks to my husband, father, and mother who love me despite the "before" all of my parties :)
Party Highlights
-
What People Ate
Grilled favorites, fresh fruit, and green salad
-
What People Drank
Safari punch
-
Desserts
We kept the desserts really simple since we always have a huge cake left over. We did cupcakes, and added the favors to make the buffet look complete. For the first time the cake dissappeared!
-
Party Favors
Aminal pens, animal jars, and safari stuffed animals.

Activities / Games
We told the kids that there had been a sand storm and all the animals were trapped. The kids dug them out the sand box to safety. There was a base camp (converted bunk bed) with chalk board, phones, and bells. No party at our house is complete without a jumpy!
