Erin's scary Monsters Inc. third birthday

Erin and I had been planning her Monsters Inc. party for MONTHS! She absolutely LOVES Mike and Sulley and both Monsters movies and thought it to be a great theme, the colours are lovely to work with! Very cool theme for boys and girls! I'm a corporate worker by profession, but organizing this party sparked my right brain and the need to follow my passion of organizing parties! I absolutely LOVED planning this party with Erin and she was so thrilled with the outcome of the party! We had scare canisters (yellow wrapped pringle tins), painted Mike and Sulley's (painted by my sister in law), green fondant Mike eyes, Green and Blue balloons, cupcakes in the colours of Mike and Sulley and a two tiered vanilla and chocolate cake, with the star of the show (Mike) ontop.

• Party Favors

  Every child was given a material draw string bag to fill with left over sweets to take home. That way I wasn't left with large amounts of sweets in my home and each mother/ father could decide how much/ little sugar they wanted to take home with them.

  Candice runs the most amazing cake design company called The Pastry Angel, couldn't host a party without a "Candice cake". Thank you Candice!!!

  Catherine took all our pictures, she runs Catherine Scott Photography. She is the best photographer I know, her photos are so natural, Thank you Candice!!!

  Caterer

  Alyson and Karina made most of the food. Fudge, chicken stay, sausage rolls and quiche. I couldn't have hosted this party without these lovely ladies!!!
