Party Recap

The medieval party themed came to mind because our house looks like a castle. And, our media room has a medieval themed as well as medieval touches throughout the house. We added permanent touches throughout the house to recoup the expense. Then, some temporary decorations such as bunting etc. to boost the theme. We used some of the crafts and goodies as decor items such as the shield decorating station. The formal dining room houses our sword collection so just a few touches and the room became a royal banquet hall. Our formal living room was redone to be a dragon's lair. Pictures swapped out with dragon posters and dragon plush as accents. The treasure chest themed table seemed appropriate and found many treasures to give that fit the theme. A dragon pinata, decorate your own shields, custom castle themed scratch offs, royal bingo, and pin the fire on the fire breathing dragon were the fun activities for the royal wee ones. The parents were included with their own feast including meat pies. We kept to the theme with the food by it all being able to eat with your hands. The plastic goblets served double duty as to drink from and take home. A royal good time was had by all!
