Nutcracker Suite Cookie Swap

Our annual family Christmas party brought together the magic of the Nutcracker Suite with the beautiful paper puppets from Sarah Jane Studios and the fun (and sugar overload) of a cookie exchange.

• What People Ate

  Vegetable platter, humus cups, carrots in a blanket, cheese and crackers, crab cakes, mushroom turnovers, mini tourtiere (vegan and regular), mini quiches, sweetish meatballs in gravy, sweat and sour turkey meatballs, mixed nuts.

  Wine, soft drinks, and coffee

  Pavlova, sugar plums, mice-shaped chocolate cake balls, vanilla "snowball" doughnut holes, cannoli cups, chocolate and lemon cupcakes, brownies, tiramisu cups, melting snowmen cookies, chocolate coconut truffles, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate pretzel "reindeer food", chocolate rice crispy squares, reindeer cookies, Grinch cake, peanut butter cookies.
