Emil's Solar System Birthday

Emil is an 9 year old boy who loves the solar system, we invited some family to an expedition "Expedition Emil 9". After writing to his favorite astronaut Terry Virts he received a birthday message from him and I framed it and displayed it at his party. I got a galaxy tapestry from amazon and wanted the color combination of black, white, grey, purple, blue, marble and a touch of orange. Emil hand cut the planets and we attached it to the tapestry and framed it with a deconstructed balloon garland. Guest were all greeted with a badge and we asked everyone to use white. We had two groups Astronauts and Aliens, we did games like what group could put the solar system puzzle together first, and more.
