Party Recap

I wanted something simple, clean and chic for Eme’s First Birthday and I believe the final result was just that!
Florals and greenery were my go-to’s for all my decor and I kept the color palette to pink, peaches, green, creams and white.
The party was at 11:30 so I decided to have a brunch type menu with bread cakes and a cookie bar!

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

Sandwiches, chips, veggies, fruit, “Cookie Bar” treats and breads “naked cakes.”

  • What People Drank

Sweet and unsweet tea, water and strawberry lemonade.

  • Desserts

The “Cookie Bar” consisted of plain sugar cookies with icings and sprinkles to decorate your own! Chocolate dipped marshmallows and drizzled Rice Krispies, thumbprint cookies, my Gran’s famous Double Doozie cookies, French and American Macaroons and my cousins beautiful specialty cookies.

  • Party Favors

Eme’s to-go treats were a simple terra-cotta pot with planted flower seeds and a sign that read “Thank you for helping me grow!”

Luz, Thank you so much! I cut the letter out of sturdy cardboard and then hot-glued all the flowers and greens on!
