Ella's Mermaid Party

Mermaids were the theme at this party! The kids were between the ages of 2-6 so the activities were perfect for little hands. The afternoon was spent decorating treasure boxes and digging for treasure, crawling through a kelp forest and fishing in the lagoon. An under the sea photo booth was set up complete with a coral display. The kids had a ball and our little mermaid was beyond excited to be celebrating her birthday under the sea!

  Oyster and Sand Dollar Cookies, Coral Rock Candy, Starwiches, Seaside Sushi (gummy sharks, cereal squares and fruit roll ups), Seaweed (skewered grapes), Crab Legs (mini carrots), Caviar (blueberries), Sea Cucumber (sliced cucumber), Sea Foam (popcorn) and Bubbles (melon balls), Fish and Chips (plain chips and goldfish snacks)

• What People Drank

  Blue Mermaid Water (kool aid)

• Party Favors

  Sand buckets with shovel, rake, a package of rainbow goldfish snacks, and a mermaid matching game

• Activities / Games

  Each child painted and decorated their own treasure chest at 'Creative Cove' then dug for treasure at 'Treasure Cove' to fill their boxes. They played in the 'Kelp Forest' and spent some time fishing in 'Ella's Lagoon'. We even had an under water coral display for photos!
