Elfie Selfie

For this years' annual Christmas festivities, I threw an ugly sweater theme party. I created most of the decorations shown in the images above, 90% of the materials were bought from the Dollar store or Michaels. The Christmas Tree backdrop on the main table was created using 3 thick bristol boards. I traced an image of a tree and then using an exacto knife, cut out the shape. I then painted each tree a dark green colour (paint from the dollar store) and poked holes throughout the boards using a pencil. I then purchased 3 $1 packets of Christmas Lights and poked the lights through the holes in my bristol board trees. Once all the little bulbs were wedged in a hole, I plugged in the lights in an extension cord so that each tree lit up nicely.
