Desmond's Little Man Sip - N - See

We wanted to give our 2nd son a "welcome baby" party since his older brother had such a wonderful baby shower prior to being born. Since we had almost every item a baby could need we also didn't want it to have a baby shower feel. I had heard about sip-n-sees and decided that having an open house in the warmer months at about 3 months of age would be the best way to introduce our new addition to friends and family.
Guests came and went in the time frame on the invitation which worked wonderfully for a small home and because it ended up raining the day of the party. We served BBQ in a help yourself atmosphere with the grand finale being the "mustache" pinata for the kids that attended. It was an intimate affair and just perfect for meeting baby Desmond.
