Decor To Door's Sharknado Party

We had a request for a Sharknado party and had a blast putting it together! The star of the show was our tornado made from polyfil, chicken wire, and gummy sharks. Honorable mention goes to our underwater sea canopy that was taped under ceiling lights to allow for the sea animals shadows. Throw in some fish netting, buoys, sea glass, and cutouts, the party was "fin"tastic!

• What People Ate

  Shark teeth (cheese cut into triangles), Shark fin sandwiches (croissant rolls cut in half to look like dorsal fins), Shark chum (meatballs in marinara sauce for a bloody appearance), Shark fin chips and bloody salsa, goldfish, and shrimp cocktail.

• What People Drank

  "Ocean water" made with vodka and blue curacao and canned drinks so the shark koozies could be used.

• Desserts

  Cupcakes with shark cutouts on top.

• Party Favors

  Shark water squirters and shark lollipops.
