"Curious George"-inspired first birthday party

A few times a year, I actually get to throw a party for one of my OWN children! My youngest daughter LOVES Curious George, so red, yellows, some bright blues set the color scheme...then we got down to monkey business.

Guests were welcomed by a table of yellow hats, small yellow hat earrings, and monkey ears to wear during the party. A Curious George birthday book was out for everyone to sign birthday wishes. Food was served at "Chef Pisghetti's restaurant", and the dessert table included many monkey-themed desserts: A fondant-covered Curious George cake, Man with the Yellow Hat cupcakes, monkey bread, frozen bananas, and mini banana muffins.

Coloring books were favors for the kids and little "runts" bananas in yellow hat containers were for the adults, and all decorations were made by me!
