Construction

My cousin's son was having a construction themed party. Each child received a construction vest, name tag and hard hat. My dad (a carpenter) built a birdhouse kit for each child. An adult helped them build the birdhouses then the kids painted them. They loved it! The kids also had their pictures taken in the photo booth. My cousin printed the pictures and placed them on a construction sticker page that the kids decorated. Then we ate lunch, and cake and watched the birthday boy open presents. Everything was made at home and cost very little. Most of the decorations were recycled from my own son's construction party. All of the kids loved this party and were really excited to take their birdhouses home at the end!
